LaCrosse VRBO Entry

 9/11/22

We have had a lovely time in this grand home. Beautiful accommodations and clean. The kids leave for the Twin Cities today - we will remain.

I plan on, tonight, returning to my research into "The Blue Lights" phenomena visible , rarely, from Grand Dad's Bluff here. I believe the day's  meteorological, seasonal and other factors could conspire to result in a viewing.

First written reports of same date back to the pioneers who described witnessing the manifestations which they accurately described as spherical in nature and moving with an exciting velocity only to disappear with a loud report. (A "snap" sound actually.) Native Americans, too, have traditions in regards to "The Blue Lights." It is unknown whether the preceding cultures were cognizant of it, however petroglyphs near Jeffers MN suggest they may well have been witnessed.*

Of  course  modern literature - and, of course, The Internet - abound with reports of  "The Blue Lights" as seen from the bluff. They seem to defy photography but The Blue Light's snapping concussions have been abundantly recorded on audio equipments.

Tonight I apply scientific apparatus to the phenomena in my ongoing effort to analyze the spectacle for I am most convinced that it is of a scientific, thus knowable, origin.

Over the years too many have conjectured that "The Blue Lights" have a mystical, supernatural, or, even, a spiritual concept.

I say these whimsical explanations are entirely humbug.

I know, in fact, that the phenomena is of an entirely scientific nature.

For I have witnessed, first hand, the harnessing of this elusive energy source by my alien abductors, during one of my, well, abductions. Then seeing first hand, "The Blue Lights" being employed to ensconce several of Mindoro's (Their Leader's.) wife Boscobel's heads when she dried them after emerging from the electroshower.

And also our Great Leader's children ride The Blue Lights about as earthling youngsters would employ tricycles.  But, when they "SNAP" - apparently at random - the results are dreadful and precipitate a big mess as well. But Mindoro and Boscobel have thousands of children so there is not much of a loss in just that one. Incidentally I have seen Boscobel emit several offspring while simply traversing the kitchen, so they are easily, if not unceremoniously, replaced.

So my hope is that you wish me well in my quest this night.

Also I hope you have gratitude for abiding in such a comfortable and sublime residence.

*Curiously a similar manifestation has long been witnessed over The St. Croix River above Stillwater MN.
